i have been using this from 3 years i am not facing any issues, i have used this light in extreme rain in Rajkot still working fine, i have wrapped body with plastic and cellotape for extra rough and tough use. always discharge full and charge for battery health..
Even the cost is much higher, the product is excellent.
value for money
I think it is a must have for all cyclist
Bought this light as I wanted something reasonably bright (I live in the countryside), but don't use it an awful lot so didn't want to pay a fortune. The pluses first, it's great being USB chargeable, will save on batteries. The light pattern is pretty good, tend to have it on the middle setting but on the high it's got a good distance, albeit a bit yellow in appearance. Seems to last for a while on full charge, I've been out for over and hour with no issues.
The negatives, as someone else has pointed out, the USB is in an awkward place and it does take a while to fully re-charge, even if it's not out of charge. Also the charging lead could do to be a bit longer.
Overall, worth the money, with a couple of minor changes would be a 5 star.
I purchased a very similar light as this one about 3 years ago from a different company and it has been brilliant. Unfortunately the residual battery life is now starting to diminish. I tried to get another from but the same company but they no longer sell them. Therefore, when I saw this one on the Decathlon site I purchased it straight away.
It's early days but the light is working as well as the previous one. It is very bright when on full setting and lasts for over an hour. The fact you can then just recharge it is so handy.
Unfortunately the new light has some changes that I don't like. The usb connection is located in an awkward position obstructed by the securing strap. This causes the cable to not sit correctly and needs to be wiggled to get a proper connection. I've now had to remove the securing strap when I need to charge the light which is a pain. The usb connector is very tempremental.
The new securing strap works OK on the bike but would be better if you could easily release it from the light making it easier to recharge.
The previous light also recharged direct from a usb port off a pc within an hour or two. The new light was connected to a pc port for 6 hours and was still red!
For performance, a great light for the money that is really useful, just a shame the new strap attachment hasn't been properly thought out and the usb connection is dodgy. Seems like the changes have made the product worse rather than improve it. Some things are just best left alone!
I bought it on 1/06/16 and it has stopped working on 5/7/17.

I have used it all winter in dark Norway and it fulfilled its function.
I have a far better experience than "Carlos" below.
Still I agree that the fixing system is not really good for a light one needs to recharge once a week.
