I have used it all winter in dark Norway and it fulfilled its function.
I have a far better experience than "Carlos" below.
Still I agree that the fixing system is not really good for a light one needs to recharge once a week.
Very powerful and reliable light. Well worth the money
I do not like the beam, it is concentrated in a circular area, it has not cut-off so I think it is not allowed by StVZO. In any case, it is not appropriate for a focus on a bicycle, because give us much light in front of us and any in 20-30m also it lost a lot of light on the orizon. The dazzling force is just below the cut-off point for those who have the misfortune to be in front of you ... It cause an undue dazzle. Dangerous and illegal.
The power should be enough for ride without any more light, but the form of the light it is circular. Bad.
The LED throws direct light into the eye, making it annoying to ride.
The light color is very cold, it looks a little purple, that is a low quality for human eyes and reduce the vision.
The fixing system is poor and the center of gravity is located in front of the handlebar so that the light tries to lower each time, it's unsafety off-road.
Good Power, Rechargable USB,
Poor fixing system, purple light, dazzle...
Thank you for taking the time to give us such a detailed review of this bike light.
I will feed all your comments back to the product manager at Decathlon in particular linked to the fixing bracket.
Regarding the StVZO norms, these are applicable in Germany and not in the UK. Fot this reason, this light is not sold in Germany.
This light is indeed powerful but none more so that many other models available in all other UK retailers.
This is an interesting and sensibly written article on the British Cycling website which may help other consumers as well: https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/knowledge/bike-kit/article/izn20130902-Buying-bike-lights-0

Took it on the Dunwich Dynamo and it lasted until dawn on a full charge,
Only downside is the micro USB charging port is slightly awkward to open and insert the cable into.
Easy to charge & mount & operate on bike-bar, good selection of operating modes.
Unable to get flat on any of my cycling helmets as Mount doesn't mould to rounded surfaces between air vents & 5 front air vents have mesh so limit options to rear mounting. Would be more versatile if the bar attachment could be rotatable through 90 degrees for direct mount on a bike-stem or helmet..
USB charging, easy fit, various light modes
Can't fit flat on my bike helmets, larger size
I am more than happy with this light and does the job on my dialy commute however the cable to recharge is very fiddley to ,annoyingly!
I have never had a problem with the mounting strap nor has it slipped but I'm not sure how long it will last.
That said for the price you can not go wrong
Bright and a good price
The charging cable is very fiddley
Yet to put it through its paces, wondering how many charging cycles it will go through before it starts dropping output. Long term, it would be good to have perm bracket, stop the light fingered ones out there removing it. Would be great if I could find a rear light with the same intensity, stop cars driving into the back of me.
Intense light, focussed solid build
Poor a position of the charging port, USB lead sho
I love this light, its an improvement on some more expensive options.
It is fast to turn on and off and has four beam levels, low, medium and high plus flash mode which is fast and I use it in day time. It shows up dark paths well too. I'm tempted to buy a spare .
bright, light weight, fast flashing, fast removal
Keep it dipped, oncoming traffic can be dazzled
Nice and bright with a good spread of light. Great value when you compare it to what you could buy from other places for the same amount of money. The only downside is the indicator for low battery is between the two LEDs so you don't see it while riding.
Nice and bright with a good spread of light.
I was trying to decide between this and a few other makes and have only used the light for about 3 - 4 hours so far but have been pleased with the power of the light. It lit the road well and being rechargeable is brilliant.
Very good illumination, has a low battery warning
Slightly fiddly/not robust fitting to handlebar
