I am using this bag since December 2016. This bag is total vale for money. Its light weight and comfortable. If any one wants to buy a bag then should definitely go for it. I only want say to producers that if you make this bag waterproof then 10/10.
The backpack has very few zips/pouch for items that might be needed to be taken out of bags very frequently like passport, shades, etc.
Excellent delivery service from declathon. Backpack is of really good quality and so far have had problems with the item and appears to be hardwearing.
Overall it's a great item, however I think it could do with 1 or 2 external side zip-up pockets.
I've also experienced odour on the shoulder straps due to heavy sweating. Maybe if the padding on the straps was removable to be washed and then put back again that would save us having to wash the entire bag altogether, especially when hiking, washing machines aren't really handy.
Generally it's a very competent pack with an above-average back system which is cool and carries loads well. It's weakness, understandable at the price, is that the materials are not all that hard wearing. This is especially true for the straps, clips, and buckles. While fine for lightweight use I wouldn't want to subject them to heavy loads or regular contact with rough terrain.
In summary, it's perfect for a lightweight day pack on easy terrain or for general use carting stuff around town.
The quality of this backpack is very good - much better than the price suggests.
I bought this bag to use on my cycle commute to work so i could fit a change of clothes, towel, lunch etc and still have space for any extra bits i need to transport - it is more than capable of this. The straps and the back of the backpack are comfortable when walking, but i'm not entirely convince with the "lumber Support". It is not the most comfortable when cycling due to the way my back arches when reaching the handlebars.
Having said that, it does what i need and for the money, i'm more than happy to wear it for 30 mins twice a day despite the fact that it could be more comfy.
I tried this bag during last two weeks and I ever stop to be amazed by how good it is. Really love it.
I use it as a daypack and its fine
sturdy and very light
i think that a raincover would be ideal
Very good backpack as it is comfortable and in shape with the body. Easy to carry and to open/close. It is light and has different pockets! Very good quality too.
My first rucksack was a Forclaz 20. It's been all over the place with me but now and again I just needed that little bit more room. Looked at loads of daysacks from different manufacturers. A lot of them very expensive. Went down to Decathlon in Sheffield and compared this and a Lowe Alpine bag which were on offer for the same price. I chose the Forclaz 30 because quite simply it ticked all of the boxes and had a ventilation backing system thrown in too. Extremely happy with it. The only negative like the other reviewers have said is that it could do with an integral rain cover.
Pole holder, mesh pockets and waist strap pocket.
Lack of integral rain cover.
