The shoe provides good coverage and was helpful in rocky terrain in providing support and comfort to the foot. The laces are a bit slippery, but apart from that, no complaints.
Super comfortable and indeed waterproof! Proved on wetlands in Scottish Highland. 3 hours of hiking in late December, in the rain. And very nice colour too :)
I needed a pair of walking boots just for short local walks in West Yorkshire. I have recently returned from Brittany, France where I lived for 11 years, and I belonged to a walking group there. The only available shop for outdoor gear was Decathlon in the town of Carhaix Plouger, and so my last pair of boots were purchased from there, along with the rest of my gear, coats, trousers, hats, gloves and trainers. They were all good quality and lasted me for years. So my first thought was to buy from Decathlon UK. I have worn the boots twice and they fit perfectly and they are so light and comfortable. I bought size 6 1/2 and was unsure really as I bought them on line, but I was relieved that they fitted so well. Really pleased with them.
Bought these for a walk up Snowden. Really comfy especially as it was their first outing. Great value for money.
This is the second pair I've purchased they are comfy and waterproof. I wore the last pair out wearing them every day to walk the dog pleased that they still do them
These are the first cheap fabric boots that have stayed waterproof for more than a week. Dogs walked every day in all weathers over all terrain, and feet have remained dry.
Very comfortable, can not fault them for the price.
Great value for a great boot that is comfortable with very little walking in ! Have had mine a year and wear them 3 times a week. When washed they still look good and does all the description says !
Got this shoes for My Daughter, comfortable and brilliant
It took a few months to wear the boots in which i expected as they are cheap, but the boots after six months were still not really comfotable to wear. I use them for walking my dogs when its wet which wasn't much last year in the south east, so they didn't get well used and it was always on flat terrain. After the summer of not wearing them i put them on for the first time and after a 40 minute walk ended up with a bad blister on my heel. So these boots are useless and will be going in the bin. Only positive is that my feet did stay dry through long grass, they did leak at the tongue but only a few times when it rained hard. I have now upgraded to a pair of Trespass boots.
wet feet, uncomfortable,
Hello, thanks for getting in touch about the Arpenaz 100 mid walking boot and I apologise for the discomfort caused. If you still own the boots, please drop into your local store where a member of the team will find a suitable solution for you.
Should you ever be searching for a pair of new boots around this price, I would recommend the Arpenaz 100 high boot; http://www.decathlon.co.uk/forclaz-100-high-womens-waterproof-walking-boots-brown-id_8287393.html. They have good comfort reviews and due to them being the high boot they offer more resistance to the elements.
