I used this shoes for 5 weeks for walking and rubber mesh get tored. Don't buy this brand mesh shoes it's very low quality mesh material. Why Decathlon sales this kind of low quality products to waste customers money.
Thanks for you feedback on the Forclaz 500 Fresh shoes by Quechua. I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
In this situation, there could two reasons,
1. Smaller size, usually we recommend to take one size bigger than your usual size for hiking, a finger space at the back when the laces are loose.
2. Our hiking shoes are designed for users with average width of feet and currently we do not have one for wider feet.
At Decathlon we work keeping our users and their happiness at the heart of everything we do and to ensure one major part, quality, all our products are tested by users on terrains similar to the one a user will use it on and also under similar laboratory conditions which enables us to assure a 2- year warranty on all our products.
If you believe your shoe is not due to the 2 cases I mentioned above, I request you to kindly visit any of our stores closer to you and get the shoe exchanged or seek for a refund. I stay available if you need any further assistance with our products or services.
The shoes are really good. Get a good grip, lightweight and very airy. I am yet to check them out during the rainy season. One of the issues i faced was that because a large part of the upper body of the shoe is perforated, a lot of mud gets in and the socks really get soiled. This is especially when the terrain is very muddy.
Light, quick-drying, great grip. But the mesh in front tore almost immediately after purchase. I even exchanged it once, but the 2nd one had the same problem. Perhaps it's my feet (not that they're particularly shoe-destroying), but I haven't even taken them out for a hike yet!
Hope Quechua can look into it and fix the problem...
Hello Prajval,Thank you for your feedback on the Forclaz 500 hiking Shoes. I am really sorry that you had to go through this twice. We test all our shoes in the field by frequent users as well as in the lab to ensure the promise of quality. In you case, I suppose this would have happened due to 2 reasons, 1. Smaller size- Hiking shoes need to be one size bigger than casual shoes. Your shoes should have space for one finger at the back when the laces are loose.2. Wider feet- Our hiking shoes are designed for users with an average width. We are sorry to inform you that currently, Quechua doesn't have shoes for users with wider feet. I will definitely forward your feedback to the concerned team to find a solution in the future. Please write to email@example.com with insights or visit any of our stores to replace the product.
I remain available if you have any further queries.

Very good grip on a rocky surface.
Decathlon need to bring in the concept of narrow medium wide and extra wide foot beds or else their shoes tend to be little narrow on standards
seems like good sole
Hello Sathya,Thanks for giving us this feedback. I am sorry that we do not have shoes designed to fit foot with different width. But, I will share your valuable feedback with our product design team to see if we can bring this concept in the future. In the meanwhile, you can bring the product to any of our stores to have the refund.
Thanks & Regards,
