It is perfect
I purchased it for cycling in Delhi. Yet to test it for rain but it does hold the heat in. So thats a plus. It is luminescent. Thats another plus.
Snug fit, luminescence and style,
Used this jacket daily for the last six weeks. It's survived one London downpour and kept me perfectly dry, and otherwise been very comfortable. I'd imagine it will be too sweaty to use other than in winter, but the vents certainly help. I'm usually feeling a slightly clammy by the end of my five mile commute, even when just wearing a t-shirt underneath on all but the coldest day.
It's a well-designed piece of kit with handy pockets, a generous drop at the back and a good seal on the cuffs. Overall fit is good. Recommended - for the price you just can't go wrong.
(Interesting that the specification claims the 'fabric has breathable coating' while comments from Decathlon under one review here state that the jacket isn't breathable [ it definitely isn't, and I didn't expect it to be for the price]. )
it works great in conditions when there is a lot of rain
It's an amazing product, I got it 5 months ago and it's working very good
Excellent price-quality ratio. Better than a multiple expensive rain jacket.
Great value light weight jacket.
Bought for winter commute to go over fleece jacket so tried in store and got a larger size (XL - I'm 6'3" with long limbs).
The length in arms and body is spot on especially over my fleece lined jkt.
Personally I would like a more fitted profile in the body as I have to use a rucksack on my commute and the excess material of the rain jkt body gets caught on some of the clips etc but this is minor niggle.
Reflective material on the sides is good as if it was on the back it would be hidden by my rucsac but there could be some on the arms as well.
Love the zipped pocket at the rear as its useful to keep your keys, wallet, snacks or anything in for that matter.
And the vents towards the shoulders area good idea to enable release of any excess heat.
Great product for the price and you can't fault it for that
Pocket, reflective material, arm and body length,
Would like a slimmer body shape in the jacket
Use this jacket daily for my cycle to and from work. Must say I have no issues with it but my journey is relatively short. Been caught in some heavy showers and my torso is still dry.
Windproof and good fit
I have had my jacket for about a year now. It is fine for heavy showers as it stops you getting soaked. But due to the stupidly placed vent openings (right where the rucksack straps go), the air cannot get in as it is closed, hence why you end up as a sweaty mess underneath. This is fine in the winter weather commutes, the heat building up is nice. But for 80% of the time I use it, it just makes a good waterproof cover around my ruck sack.
For £20 you can't really complain but I think with very little cost increase B'Twin could make this jacket so much better. (Re-positioning of the front vents. Rigid openings to keep them open when speed increases)
