fit well keep the chill out
padding very reduced and long ride a bit uncomfortable. i normally use size M, but even size L is quite tight, so recommend to see it in store before buying
Good fit and warm enough for riding in UK winter.
+ perfect for a normal 5-10 degree cloudy relatively cold british day.
- sizing, but this is personal. I have big thighs but a 32inch waist so anything XL will slide down me anyway..
- Would be really good if there were more reflective bits on it, probably pushing it with this kind of price. PLEASE come back in stock, i need some..for winter is coming.
wear extra long jons on top for 1-5degree
A good all rounder. Only used for local cycle commuting but would definitely hold up for longer more active work. A nice compromise if you don't need/want the whole bib outfit.
Good fit, good price and well padded
Overall very satisfied especially at the price
I thought they might be warmer
they're fine (and cheap!), but obviously not designed for longer rides (for that, the 700 bib shorts are superb, especially combined with unpadded tights in cooler weather).
I bought these leggings when buying quite a bit of kit to set me up for a new 20k commute. They're fine for shorter distances where the contact effects are only limited but for longer rides of say 50k or more you should consider investing in a more expensive pair with gel padding or the more advanced memory foam padding as I have now done - still using these for commuting though so they have merit!
Excellent Fit, Wash well (so far), price
Limited padding, not suitable for longer rides
Thank you for posting such a fair review of these tights. You are correct in saying that they are for short/occasional rides.
A wider range of non bib tights will be released this autumn which is a positive evolution of our range.
