I used for Govind Ghat to Ghangaria and back, Valley of Flowers and Hemkund. I feel that it was due to these socks that I did not get blisters. The socks have protective padding and strong fibers where required.
Good for multiday treks. Good quality material.
I love them. They are comfortable to wear and protect my ankles and toes.
Comfy/good except that they are rather tight for a size 11 - so if 10.5/11+ I'd consider skipping these.
I've had numerous socks from Decathalon which have been fine (Forclaz 100 are the comfiest socks I own) so it seems limited to this range.
These are all synthetic so feel a bit hard under foot. I prefer a sock with a bit of wool or cotton as the natural fibres provide a bit of comfort. These feel a bit like knitted fishing line. They also have a seam that runs under the front of the toes, so I cannot see how that does not rub. I have not worn these for more than 6 miles and I do not think I would be able to wear them for a full day without a blister. It was a pleasure to take these off and put on a pair of cheap cotton mix socks for the rest of the hike.
