The short blade ensures a good kicking frequency and helps maintain a higher heart rate than a long blade. Motion is very close to the "natural" movement.
Explanation of stiffness: stiffness is characterised by the density of matter. So the stiffer or longer a blade is, the greater muscular exertion will be. Conversely, the softer or shorter the blade, the higher the frequency of your workout and you will be able to tone the lower body.
FULL FOOT FINS
The foot pocket of a fin holds the foot in place when kicking (important for an efficient kick) so take the time to try on the fins before buying.
There are 2 types of foot pockets: Closed and open, the closed fin keeps the foot in its natural position.
