Made for This mask gives you a good vision range with a powerful anti-fogging treatment and a cylindrical screen to ski in good weather. The G 500 S3 mask allows you to ski under the clouds or in good weather, with a dual cylindrical anti-fog treated screen to delay the formation of steam.
Because UV rays are bad for the eyes, all our goggles are certified 100% ANTI-UV by standard EN 174. Goggles are the best protection, they perfectly enclose the eyes, preventing UV entry and reverberation
S3 is a dark screen that protects you from the light intensity from the sun. We have selected a brown tint that preserves good visibility in shaded areas or at the end of the day when the sun is less bright.
The "PERFORMANCE" anti-fogging system is a double lens with a treatment on the inside associated with a ventilation system on the frame that makes air circulate inside the ski goggles.
To ensure a good flow of air inside of the goggles, do not block these air vents, e.g. with a neckwarmer.
Do not rub inner surface of lens but dab it carefully in order to preserve the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible.
Goggles with dual lens to reduce condensation. Indeed, the air that is trapped between the two lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. This reduces the thermal shock between the inside of the goggles and the outside, thereby delaying any condensation from forming on the inner lens of the goggles. To complement this, the inner lens is also given an anti-fogging treatment.
Double cylindrical screen polycarbonate injected exterior highly resistant to impact and acetate interior
Compatibility with a ski helmet
All Wed’ze ski goggles are designed for perfect compatibility with Wed’ze ski helmets.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
The G 500 S3 ski mask in size L allows to use corrective glasses to a maximum of width of 130 mm. The foam pads on the sides and the shape of the goggle padding enables the arms to pass through.
40 mm-wide Polyamide, Polyester and rubber elastic, non-slip silicone strap
Flashed coloured screen
Coloured coating on the outside of the ski goggle lens (known as colour Flash) to reduce the % of light transmission that gets to the eye, meaning less glare and more visual clarity in bright conditions
EN 174 Standard
The EN 174 standard is a European standard applicable to goggles used for eye protection when downhill skiing or similar activities such as snowboarding.
Moisture causes condensation. You must therefore make sure that the foam does not get soaked in water, e.g. by placing the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. Whatever the circumstances, you must dry your ski goggles thoroughly overnight to remove any moisture and hit the slopes on the following day with perfectly dry goggles.
The size of the mask is chosen according to the size of the headband
Up to size 55 cm choose the size S (or formerly S / M), from 56 choose the size L (or formerly L / XL)
You're advised to store your mask in their Wed'ze case after use.
All Wed'ze products are tested in the real conditions of use for which they have been designed... Under the snow, in the cold, in all the conditions you can encounter when skiing. The design teams, product managers, engineers and pattern makers check that the programme for which the product was designed and developed perfectly matches its use in the field.
