I am writing this review after returning from Family Camping trip in the foot hills of Himalayas. This tent is one of the best tent I have ever seen and experienced. The Size is perfect for 4 adults and as we were 2 adults and 2 kids the space was plenty for us. We have a Pet GSD dog and the entire living area was his to enjoy and indeed he was guarding us.
We were camping in a place called Jot Pass and at around mid night there was thunderstorm and wind was so powerful that my family got afraid and we decided to move to our car as we felt it not safe, as the tent was pitched in a place which had valley in both the sides. As we were shifting to car we noticed that there was one more tent (8 Pax tent) which was collapsed . So feeling that we made the right choice we stayed in the car for rest of the night leaving the tent in its place. The entire night it rained a lot and wind was even more powerful than what we felt while we were in tent. We were informed later that it common in that place to experience such an extreme weather as it was a mountain pass. In the morning I returned to the camp site thinking that I may see a collapsed tent or worst a missing tent. To my surprise the Tent was intact, It looked like nothing had happened the entire night, where as the other Tent was completely collapsed even though it was re pitched twice in the night. I regretted that I didn't stayed in it the entire night ;-). This one hell off a tent and worth every penny of it.
The only one small problem I experienced in it, that during strong wind and rain the water enters the living area. And one of the pole stem was cracked which may have caused due to the strong wind. But these drawbacks will not make me to give anything lower than 5 star.
I am purchasing Decathlon product from last 10 Year both in France and India, and will keep buying more.
Thank you Decathlon for such a great and quality products.
ive used this on three holidays now and still impressed on how cheap it was, easy to install especially after doing it once, quality seems good with no signs of wear. very happy with this purchase and would recommend to my friends
This was bought for my 12 year old twins for a recent festival week and Guide camps. They put it up themselves following the instructions very quickly. It withstood some usual May bank holiday rainfall!!!" with no leaks. The front groundsheet is designed brilliantly to stop outside water getting in. Great space for 2 girls with a double bed each and all their clothes !! Just buy, its great
Spacious, easy to put up and withstood a night of gales and rain without an issue! Perfect for a family or 3.
Perfect size. Lots of room inside for table and chairs if needed. Really easy to put up and take down and fits perfectly in it's back which takes up very little space when packing all the camping gear!!
We now have 6 of these for our scout group. Easy to pitch, easy to clean, easy to repair poles. Plenty of space for 4 and the separate bathtub entrance means that you can roll the front back in really bad weather to give a grass entrance to stop water getting in. Very happy with this tent and will be buying more
It was the perfect size for a small family it had plenty of head space and and area in front to store things and keep out of the rain
Great tent. Bought it to camping for the weekend in the Malvern hills. Firstly it is so easy to put up, my boyfriend and I normally fall out putting up tents, but there was no cross work spoken. Secondly this tent stood through mega winds and rain with no problems at all and finally it fitted perfectly back in the bag. I would highly recommend this tent.
