How to adjust your walking poles?
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To adjust them: unscrew the middle section beneath the ring of the lower section, adjust to desired height (in cm), and screw back on firmly but not too tight. Do the same thing with the lower section. NEVER GO OVER THE "STOP LINE", or the pole may break during use.

Directions for use:
Before setting off: check that your poles are properly tightened. When descending, or other intense mountain outings, you can lengthen your poles. When walking downhill, it's best to remove the strap so the pole won't get in your way if you fall.

Accessories
Comes with a summer hiking (small diameter) unscrewable basket. Compatible with wider winter baskets.

Test
All our poles undergo use tests carried out by users who represent the target market in similar conditions to those found in typical use. Our Field Test Missions team up our product managers with people not affiliated with QUECHUA to test, improve and validate our products.

Product test
Bending and compression tests are done on extended poles to make sure they remain effective and can withstand stresses when the user has to lean on them heavily. Tests are also carried out to assess how the tightening systems cope with pulling, tightening and repeated stress, and pull tests on the tips and handles simulate poles getting stuck when in use.

Stockage tips
Store the poles in a dry place, do not tighten the sections.

Survived 15 mile coastal hike
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Walked one of the hardest sections of the South West Coast Path with one of these, and it was fantastic. Light weight, strong and comfortable grip. I don't know how long it will last, but seems well built.

Only buying a more expencie Leki set as I'm going on a 250 mile hike and need something that I know will last.
