Have used them for about a year now. walked in streams for 6-7 km on 4 occasions. Walked 18 km of coastline in the water. I also use them daily and only now have they developed a tear in the netting. still use them.
I am using it around 4/5 months on regular basis.I observed that these shoes should be used a bit for better gripping. But it's gripping is not good nor bad also. I am using a gel insole in it and finding very much comfortable. Waterproofing is upto my expectations regarding it's price. Thanks Decathlon
In 6 months the top portion of the shoe started tearing.
Thanks for your valuable time to review the Arpenaz 100 Waterproof shoes by Quechua. I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
To give you a small insight on this product, the Arpenaz 100 shoe is designed for hiking on the lowlands for one day, on an occasional use. They give you good grip and comfort on this terrain, plus they are waterproof and hence they help you stay dry even when it is raining. When they are used for a purpose other than the above, there are high chances for the shoe not to perform as the value promised.
Please be assured that all our products are tested for usage and quality under two levels, one by users on real-time terrains and the other under laboratory conditions. It's too slippery not useful for trek

Awaiting for your response,
Tried using for mild hiking activity. Had to remove shoes as it was too slippery.
Been using these for mountain biking in the local woods so they've taken a fair bit of abuse, they offer plenty grip and make great contact with my flat pedals, they've been completely soaked and caked in mud more than a few times and I've never had wet feet not even once. I also use them for general short walks and have no problems with them, they even scrub up pretty well so mine still look fairly new after six months.
Good sturdy product
I don't have a problem with sweaty feet at all, but I wore these for work for about 4 weeks, I'm a service engineer so not really heavy use. But, I noticed my feet got very hot and my socks were pretty wet. After about 3 weeks these shoes developed a pretty nasty odour- something I've never had before. So, I've had to ditch them.
I paid for these shoes because I had to
other wise I was not going to have them..OK
