Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform where we can expose each side of the tent to the wind. To test its wind resistance, the tent must be properly pitched, taut but not stretched, with all the guy ropes in position around the tent. It should remain habitable at wind speeds of 70km/h, measured near ground level.
Ventilation and condensation prevention
Bedroom contains mosquito netting for ventilation and water repellent fabric to prevent condensation and draughts. Large vent at front of tent's fly sheet and additional vent at feet end. To reduce condensation inside your tent, it must be properly assembled, with the fabric kept taut without over-stretching. Use of vents and good air circulation will help reduce humidity inside your tent.
Sun protection
The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can enter through a single open door. Protect your skin.
Every tent sold at Decathlon is guaranteed for 2 years of normal use (your receipt or loyalty card is used as proof of purchase). In case of any problem have your tent examined in the nearest Decathlon store. Spare parts and pole repairs at the workshop of your Decathlon store.

Product test
QUECHUA tents are assembled and tested for waterproofing in tropical rain conditions (200 L water/sqm/h) for 4 hours to ensure no water gets in through the seams, flaps, openings and zips etc. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) measures the fabric's waterproof properties. Wind resistance: tents are set up in a wind tunnel on a rotating platform to expose each side of the tent to the wind. We also carry out numerous tests in the field under real conditions.

Stockage tips
Storage: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.

Quality and features of a tent twice the price
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I purchased this tent for tenting out on a motorbike. It's a brilliant tent that can be used free standing albeit with the loss of the two vestibule/entrance areas. Pegged out, even without the guys attached, this is a very solid structure with some useful room under the vestibules which housed my backpack, motorcycle boots, jacket and trousers away from my sleeping area. There's just enough room to run jet boil in the vestibule but you have to be very careful near the outer skin not to burn it.

I had it pitched in variable weather with some intermittent heavy rain for short periods of less than an hour. The tent was absolutely watertight throughout. I slept through a 1-2 degree Celsius night and I was dry in the morning as all seemed condensate free in the sleeping area.

I've been looking at buying another slightly larger tent, I can't find anything as well rounded in features for even double the price. It looks like I'm going to have to spend over £300 to do better.

Only negative is I can see people struggling getting the second pole in to finish the main errection of the frame, I'm strong and I had to give it some welly. Anyone thats not nails like me will struggle as some reviewers have mentioned.
Very good value tent.
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I bought this tent for camping in Scotland. I've used it for 9 days, mostly car-camping with the occasional wild camp and it was ideal. We took it down and moved to a new location every day and it was so quick to put up and take down that this wasn't a chore - a couple of minutes at most even with just one person. The only difficult bit is putting the second end of the two poles into their rubber cap which is a really tight fit - it's easy with two people but really hard with just one. It packs away really quickly and is just about light enough to hike and wild camp with. It kept us dry in very heavy rain and the porch areas were great for keeping our boots dry as well. It's also very wind resistant, and midge proof. It also has handy pouches storing little things in overnight and hooks for hanging a light etc. It is a really well thought out tent and absolutely the best value tent in that price range.
very good tent
Used for 1 week or less
bought this 3 man to replace an old 2 man tent and that little bit extra room makes all the difference. As the title suggests quick to erect after watching the video carefully & folds down quite small.Only niggle is that it can drip very slighty when the door is opened after raining but otherwise a clever & well thought out product.
