Been using this bike to commute to work everyday and some weekend long rides. Initially I had some gear issues (I also gave a review with 1 star, no way to change it, so writing another one). I went to the store, the store guys were good, they changed some settings and it was better than before. Also got my first service after 3 months. Good things about the bike is the parts used in the bike are good, like the bearings, chain etc. The weight of the bike is low compared to many in this range and that justifies the cost mostly(used 6061 alloy). You will find he wheels rolling very well for an entry level bike. The handles has a small extra grip which was very well thought of. The disc brakes give lot of confidence with all the city commute. A couple of points which could have been improved at this price point - Gears could have been Shimano instead of Microshift (now I bought a road bike for my weekend rides which uses Shimano, so I know the difference, Still use this for my daily commute). Should have front deraillieur with some bigger cog, as compact cog will not get u the speed. Also tires could have been little smaller in width (may be a 32 like Triban 100 which would have made it faster, and would have costed less). With these three changes I think this would have made best bang for the buck. Overall If u are looking for a entry level bike - u can also look at Btwin Triban 100(little cheaper than this) with 6061 alloy frame, 7 speed cassette and Shimano derailliuer and great handling, thinner tires - but this one has disc brakes which i found very useful. Both don't have big cog. So if u live in hilly areas this has 11-36 cassette- u should go for this- also the disc will help u in descends - swap the tires with a thinner ones u r good to go(I am planning to do ones these wear out). Gr8 experience with decathlon, will continue buying stuff from them. Thanks
Very light weight, smooth and controlled.
Easy gear shift, light weight, good shape
Only drawback is that seat is not comfortable for more than 30 minutes ride, needs an upgrade.
Gear slippage issue, overall cycle is bad
Straight to the point
Gears slip on uphill, went to service, nothing changed at all, it still does.
Considering the outlay, it's a disappointing experience.
Used for more than 15 days tyre air wil reduce drastically sometyms... But for city usage good and recommend... But for offroading go for the mtb
Not a complete bike front derailer not there but for my city use it's good .
I am very much satisfied and enjoying the ride, well built, light and sturdy. reason I have give is that at lest for the price they should include stand and mud guard. Had to shell out 2 K extra.
