Waterproof component
We measure the resistance of a fabric with water pressure expressed in mm of the water column (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a 2000mm impermeability therefore resists pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water (which corresponds roughly to a 2-hour downpour).

Product test
Quechua is based at the foot of Mont-Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year our design teams design and develop beautiful, simple and technical products. We then test them hands-on with our technical partners and mountain professionals in the most testing conditions. In fact, we are convinced that it is only by testing these products in real situations that we can continue to progress.

Stockage tips
