Great colour, right size. Happy!!
Bought it at the store in Whitefied, Bangalore on 5th August 2018. Used it for couple of days during my Kailash Mansarovar Yatra . It tore at one place on the second day itself near the upper back [not seam] and feathers started coming out.. had to seal it with band aid and continue using for one more day [total 3 days usage].. Disappointed :((
Thanks for your time to review the X-Light down jacket by Quechua. I apologise for the inconvenience caused to you by our product.
To give you a small insight into this product, the major promise of X- Light jacket is the compactness and lightness with warmth while trekking and carrying inside a backpack. To achieve this, the filling is down, best known solution for warmth plus light and the outer layer is made out of a thin fabric to fold compact inside the backpack . Hence, when the fabric comes in contact with any sharp substance it tends to tear and the filling escapes. A fix to this is 3M tape available online and the issue will be fixed once for all.
if you believe the tear was not due to the issue mentioned above, I request you kindly to visit any of our stores closer to you and get this jacket exchanged. I stay available if you need any further assistance with our products or services in the future.
I am very happy with my purchase. It keeps me very warm and it is feather light.
One of the most useful thing for my recent North East India trip. Excellent for a few drizzle and minor cold.
Smart and stylish jacket...perfect for hiking
Light weight & functional for extreme weather
Good one and comfortable
I bought this jacket nearly a year ago and have worn it a lot, it is still in great condition. I originally bought it for a camping trip to the Alps last summer where we high up so had cold evenings and nights - it was perfect for that. I would also take it out on day hikes too as would often start out warm at lower altitude then need it for higher up. Have worn it a lot too in the UK for our ever changing climate. (I've not washed it yet - am a bit nervous about the down filling)!
