Nice colour & looks amazing in the picture's but have developed ankle & knee pain after using these boots. Over priced compare to the competitors.
Thanks for your valuable time to review the Trek 700 boots by Forclaz. I apologise for the inconvenience caused to you.
The Trek 700 is designed in a way to delight the needs of a trekker out for more than a week on the mountains with tough terrains. Hence the shoe has a heavy duty construction, vibram rubber sole for superior grip and full foot cushioning to support the long duration. The ankle is high, hard and the outer has a full length rubber boundary to guard you against the terrain outside. Due to this tough construction, till you break in, there could be chances that you face this and I apologise again for this inconvenience caused.
Meanwhile, if you feel unsatisfied with the product still, I request you to visit any of our stores closer to you and seek for a refund. I stay available if you need any further assistance with our products or services in the future.
Not very impressed with the hardness/ stiffness of the Vibram sole. Throughout my treks it feels stiff and lacks flexibility. Over rocks and stones I do not find the sole taking to the terrain.

First off, this is an ancient model. Bought 2 pairs for my husband and myself. The water/ snow seeps in & does not make one feel stable or provide the feeling of reliability. FORCLAZ was a better product before 2010 NOT ANY MORE. A complete waste of our hard earned money. Soo very disappointed.
These Forclaz 700 Hiking boots/ shoes have a flat feel to them and are limited to accommodate only narrow feet, folk with wider feet will struggle. Overpriced. For a hiking boot Collector worth $70 to $80 tops & not more than 5000 Rupees for the Indian & Nepal market.
Though I have only had these boots for three weeks I have worn them every day in wet and arduous terrain. They are lightweight and robust with great ankle support and grip.
The lace locking capability at the ankle is very useful when adjusting for fit and the velcro support strap ensures security around the foot. They are a little inflexible at first, but took only a couple of days to become very flexible. The sizing does come a little small - I am usually a 6UK and needed a 6.5UK.
