4
Pockets
2 hand pockets + 1 inside pocket. These 3 pockets are zipped to secure your personal belongings.
5
Hi-tech lining
Dual-material lining: mesh on the upper body to promote breathability of the garment, nylon on the hips and sleeves to optimise ease of movement, putting the jacket on and resistance to abrasion.
6
Waterproofness of the garment
This garment has been shower-tested using 60 litres of water/sqm/hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
7
Coating element
The coating of your MH100 jacket is like a layer of "paint" applied on the underside of the fabric to make it waterproof while remaining breathable.
8
Component breathability
To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapour generated by physical activity evaporates, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric 9
9
Water-repellent properties of the component
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water to slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight, breathable and warm. Water-repellent effect is achieved by using a treatment applied to the outer surface of the fabric. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifetime (recommended after every three washes). All Quechua waterproof jackets have received a water-repellent treatment.
10
Additional recommended products
Care products: spray or liquid water repellent treatment in the washing machine. To renew the fabric's water repellent properties and optimise performance throughout the lifespan of your garment.

Environmental measures
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over the entire lifecycle of the product using different indicators. An overall rating of ABCDE is provided to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type with each other (t-shirts, trousers and backpacks). Decathlon is a voluntary actor in this environmental labellling process. For further information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

Product test
Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, we create and develop products that are beautiful, simple and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field, as we remain convinced that only through rigorous testing under real world conditions, like the ones you will be using them in, can we continue to provide you with better products than ever.
